I Don't Feel God's Love Today..Does God REALLY Love Me?

We all have those days where we don't feel that close connection with God. We sometimes wonder, "Does God really love me?" and "How do I know or 'feel' it?". You must remember that although your personal feelings and emotions may tell you one thing, God's Wordis what you need to rely on, because feelings can play tricks on us at times!

So let's look at the FACTS!

  • How much does God love us?:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

"This is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins." (1 John 4:10)

"The LORD appeared to me in the past, saying, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you to me." (Jeremiah 31:3)

"But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus." (Ephesians 2:4-7)

"And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them." (1 John 4:16)

Through the word of God, it's clear that God revealed His deep love for us not only through these passages, but through His Son Jesus Christ. Through Christ, God revealed to us who He really is--compassionate,loving,righteous and full of never ending grace! This is true love in its purest form, and we are to trust the promises of God rather than our ever-changing feelings and emotions. God loves you today, yesterday and forever, and nothing can and will ever change this fact!
