Why Christians Struggle--Why we have Rough Times....

Sometimes I feel like my world is crumbling into little pieces and it will never get better. Do you ever have those moments? I'm sure we've all had those bad days or weeks where we'd much rather be dead than to deal with the stress of our lives any longer!christians struggle

Well I have good news for you! Those misfortunes in our lives doesn't mean God doesn't love us anymore, it means quite the opposite actually! christians struggle

Well I have good news for you! Those misfortunes in our lives doesn't mean God doesn't love us anymore, it means quite the opposite actually! christians struggle
Hebrews 12: 5-11 Talks about God's discipline;
…do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines those He loves, and He punishes everyone he accepts as a son.  Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons.  Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it.  How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live!  Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in His holiness.  No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful.  Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.” christians struggle

If God didn't care about us, he wouldn't discipline us. God sometimes teaches us things through our misfortunes. When Christians go through hardships, it's because they are children of God, and what parent doesn't discipline and teach their children? When a parent wants their children to grow up to be good people, they discipline them so that they may learn and grow into good adults. Well God does the same, but in a different way of coarse! He teaches us out of love so that we may grow into righteous, holy people as He planned us to be.christians struggle

Psalms 126:5-6 reads ;
 “Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him.”

And Psalms 9:9-10 reads;
“The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You. christians struggle

God has made it very clear that no matter what we go through, it's for our own good. We must put our trust in Him, and hold strong to our faith-and in His promise. One thing we know about God is that if He said it, He meant it! After all the hardships, we will reap complete joy and happiness with our Lord! Now that's something to look forward to--Amen!christians
